The Quintana Roo Superfull Triathlon Wetsuit first debuted in 2002 leading the industry in flexibility, buoyancy and warmth. This season Quintana Roo has refined it even more in order to create the fastest, best fitting suit in the market. The Ribbed Fit Panels on the sides offer extra unidirectional stretch to accommodate chest expansion and contraction when breathing is heavier than normal. These panels reduce the restriction most triathletes feel while swimming in a wetsuit. The forearm panel is made of silver sharkskin allowing for amazing stretch and feel in the catch phase of your swim stroke. The QR ankle has more flexible ribbing and angled cut to speed up your exit from the suit and get you on your new QR CD 0.1 TT bike quickly. We all know how pull buoys work when in the pool doing laps and training. The Superfull is built around QR's patented Virtual Pull Buoy ("VPB"). Once you try it, you will understand it. It feels like you are taking a corner at 70 mph, instead of a boat taking a wide turn. Being able to rotate on your axis in the water makes you swim faster, with less effort. What does that mean? It means you burn fewer calories and keep your hear rate lower. It means that you swim with greater economy than without a wetsuit. It means that with the Quintana Roo Superfull Triathlon Wetsuit you will get into T1 faster than you ever thought possible.
Suit Features:
Breakaway Zipper: Gives you release from the suit with one simple pull of the zipper cord. The zipper teeth are uniquely designed to allow separation
of the sipper to travel the full length of the zip in milli-seconds.
Rib Fit Panels: Unidirectional stretch allows the suit to expand witht the swimmer's breathing rather than constricting the torso and hindering lung function.
Smooth Neck Line: The inner neckline is seamless making the suit smoother, more flexible and more comofrtable than ever beofre.
Virtual Pull Buoy: Improves buoyancy and stability which keeps your body rotation and alignment in the most efficient position. With buoyancy located around the center rotation line of the body, the VPB aids a more centralized roll and reduces off centerline movemeent of the hips and legs.
1st Metatarsal Release System: Super flexible material was used at the point where the widest part of the foot exits the suit to ensure you don't give back any time in transition.
SharkSkin: Composite forearm catch panel gives incresed surface are and catch under the water, creating a more powerful forearm through the stroke.
