3T Zefiro Team Aero Handlebar

3T Zefiro Team Aero Handlebar is one of the coolest bars to come to the triathlon cycling industry this year. It was a huge hit at Interbike and won the 2010 Eurobike Award. It will be available for the 2011 season. The Zefiro is one of those rare instances when fusing the best of two worlds together works perfectly. What makes a traditional road bar better than an aerobar? Stability and handling. What makes an aero bar better than a traditional road bar? Aerodynamics. The Zefiro brings it all together in one cool looking, sleek package. It has the 3T Mistral's aero wing cross section which gives the athlete a nice platform for the palms and forearms and the ever popular Ergonova shallow drop which is an excellent choice for this application. Why's that excellent? Well this means you can set your aero position nice and low yet still comfortably get to the drops when cornering and descending.

The extension, known as the Pi-Wing, has a smooth air foil for the palms and if you look at the photo where the red stripe is on the air foil, it is shaped to where your fingers can comfortably cradle to either grip down for more leverage or just hang out loosely and relaxed on long straight aways.

The Zefiro meets all current and anticipated rules on aero form from the Pro Tour and ITU codes. It works with any conventional 31.8 stem and it looks awesome when paired with the 3T ARX stems.
